Payment and Refunds
When to pay, the 24-hour refund window, sprints, and how to withdraw.
Amounts, windows and limits on this page are drafts that aali confirms before launch.
Paying for a course
Pay the full fee by the pay-by date on the course page, which is two days before a cohort starts (draft rule). On-demand courses and sprints are paid for when you enrol. A programme follows the payment plan on its page. You can pay by card or bank transfer, or send a payment link to someone else, such as your employer [payment methods: to be confirmed]. Prices are in Saudi riyals and are drafts.
The 24-hour window
You may withdraw from a course within 24 hours after its materials open to you. We refund what you paid, minus a non-refundable fee of SAR 250 (draft amount). For a cohort course the 24 hours start when the materials open on the start date; for an on-demand course they start when your access arrives.
Sprints
A sprint is not refundable once you have bought it, and its page says so before you pay.
After the window
After the 24 hours there is no refund. Your access continues until the course ends, and you may be able to defer a cohort course once under the changing-status policy.
How to withdraw
- Open your account page and choose Withdraw, or write to support, within the window;
- we confirm the withdrawal by email with the time we received your request;
- we pay the refund to the original payment method within 14 days (draft).
Stopping a card payment or simply not attending is not a withdrawal.
If aali cancels
If we cancel a cohort, or move its start so that it no longer suits you, you may move to another cohort or take a full refund with no fee.
When someone else pays
A refund goes to whoever paid. If your employer paid, it may ask to withdraw you before the start date and receive the full fee back (draft). Where tax was charged, the refund includes its share [tax: to be confirmed].
Instalments
Courses are paid in one payment. A programme may offer an instalment plan, shown on its page, and each instalment has its own window according to the course it covers.
