About aali

aali is a business school online: courses and programmes that teach management and business through real cases, for people who work and want to decide on clearer ground.

Why aali exists.

Many decisions at work are made by people who were never taught how to make them. aali exists to close that gap: short courses built on real companies, studied from where you are beside classmates from many industries, with tools you can use on your first working day after they end.

Our vision: learning that is active, social and case-based.

  • Active

You work, you do not only watch

Short questions and exercises every few minutes make you try an idea before you move on to the next.

  • Social

    You learn with a group

You discuss the same case with classmates from different industries and countries, and hear a decision other than the one you would have made.

  • Case-based

You sit in the decision-maker's seat

Each week a case from a real company: you weigh its options, then see what it chose and why.

How a week works.

The same rhythm in every cohort course.

  1. 01

    Read the case

A company, a decision and the numbers, before the week begins.

  2. 02

    Try the tools

Short lessons and exercises that apply the idea.

  3. 03

    Discuss with your cohort

You defend your view and hear another.

  4. 04

    Apply it at work

You take one tool to a real problem in your own work.

Common questions.

How do I enrol in a course?

Open the course page, pick a start date if the course runs in cohorts, and press Enrol. You enter your details, pay, and receive a confirmation. On-demand courses open as soon as payment clears. Enrolment itself opens with the account portal at launch (draft).

What is the difference between a cohort course and an on-demand one?

A cohort course starts on a set date and you move through it with the same group, with a weekly discussion. An on-demand course starts the day you enrol and you set your own pace within the access period. A sprint is a short on-demand course of a few hours.

What is the difference between a course and a programme?

A course is one subject taught over a few weeks. A programme bundles three to six related courses at a package price you can pay in instalments (draft), and you earn a completion certificate for each course. The draft catalogue has three programmes.

Is there financial aid?

aali is preparing a financial aid fund (draft): partial support for learners who show need, awarded in set application windows. The amounts and windows are not decided yet. Read the financial options page for the current draft and other ways to fund your learning.

What do I receive when I finish a course?

An aali certificate of completion: a PDF with your name, the course title, the completion date and a credential id. After three courses in one subject within 18 months you can also earn a specialisation certificate. aali claims no degree and no accreditation.

Does the certificate say it is a degree or accredited?

No. It says you completed a named aali course on a date. aali is a business school online that issues its own certificates; it awards no degrees and claims no accreditation. Employers decide what weight to give it.
