FAQs
Technical Support
Devices, connection, sign-in, video and reaching support. The rules and figures in these answers are drafts until aali's team confirms them.
What equipment do I need to study?
A laptop, tablet or phone with a current browser and a steady internet connection. A phone works for reading and video, but a larger screen is easier for exercises and case tables. Headphones help if you join a live session.
How fast does my internet need to be?
A connection of 5 Mbps (draft) plays lesson video at standard quality, and live sessions work best at 10 Mbps or more. Lessons also come as text and slides, so even a slow connection can read them.
Which browsers are supported?
The latest two versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox. Keep your browser updated, because older versions may not play video or show exercises correctly. If you study on a restricted work network, ask your IT team to allow the aali site.
I cannot sign in. What can I do?
Ask for a new sign-in link from the login page, check your spam folder, and make sure you use the email you enrolled with. Each link works once and expires after a short time (draft). If it still fails, write to support.
The video will not play. What do I do?
Reload the page, then try another browser or switch off extensions that block media. On a slow connection, choose a lower quality in the player. If it still fails, send support the course, lesson, device and browser, with a screenshot.
Can I study from my phone?
Yes, for reading, video and discussion. Exercises with tables or charts are easier on a larger screen. There is no separate app in the draft plan; the site works in your phone's browser and its pages adapt to small screens.
How do I reach support?
Enrolled learners write through the account portal, which opens at launch (draft). Until then, use the contact page. We aim to answer within two working days (draft). Name the course and what happened so we can answer faster.
How do live sessions work technically?
Live sessions run in your browser with nothing to install (draft). Use a laptop if you plan to speak or share your screen; a phone is enough to listen. A recording is posted afterwards for anyone who missed it.
Is my data safe on the platform?
Pages use an encrypted connection, payment details go to the payment provider and do not reach aali's servers (draft), and you can ask for your data or its deletion. The security details are drafts until the platform opens.
