FAQs

Enrolment & Account

From signing up for a course to getting into your account. The rules and figures in these answers are drafts until aali's team confirms them.

How do I enrol in a course?

Open the course page, pick a start date if the course runs in cohorts, and press Enrol. You enter your details, pay, and receive a confirmation. On-demand courses open as soon as payment clears. Enrolment itself opens with the account portal at launch (draft).

Who can enrol?

Anyone aged 18 or over (draft) who can read the course language and has a working email address. No degree and no business experience is needed, unless the course page lists a prerequisite.

Can I enrol someone else?

Yes, you can pay for a colleague, a relative or an employee. The learner still needs their own account and email, because progress and the certificate belong to the person doing the work. Teams of five or more should use the organisations route, with group pricing.

I enrolled in the wrong course or date. What now?

Write to support through the account portal as soon as you notice. Within the draft refund window of 24 hours, we move you to another course or date, or refund you, as you prefer. After that, the deferral rules apply.

Can two people share one account?

No. An account belongs to one person: their name is on the certificate, and their progress and discussion posts are theirs alone. Shared accounts may be closed. If two colleagues want the course, enrol both; five or more learners get group pricing (draft).

Can I enrol from any country?

The draft plan is to accept learners from anywhere payment can be taken, with a few exceptions that payment partners or the law require. The list of restricted countries will be published here before launch and is a draft until then.

How do I get into my course after enrolling?

Sign in to the account portal and open My courses. A cohort course opens on its start date; an on-demand course opens once payment clears. We email you a reminder link a few days before a cohort starts. The portal opens at launch (draft).

When does registration for a cohort close?

Pay at least two days before the start date (a draft rule); it is the 'pay by' date on the course page. Cohorts are capped so discussions stay small. If one is full, you can join a waiting list or take the next date.

Can I change the name or email on my account?

Yes, before you finish a course. Your certificate shows the name on your account, so write it as you want it printed. Once a certificate is issued, a correction goes through support with a document showing the right spelling.

I forgot my password. How do I sign in?

aali does not use passwords. You enter your email and we send a sign-in link that works once. If it does not arrive, check your spam folder, then ask for a new one. Sign-in opens with the account portal at launch (draft).

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Ask support to close it and we erase your data, except what we must keep, such as payment records and issued certificates, for the periods in the Privacy Policy. Closing an account does not refund a course you have started.
