How courses, programmes and learning tracks differ
You start at aali with a single course, then decide whether to stop or go on. A course is a complete unit of learning with a certificate of completion, a programme bundles several courses at one price for a larger certificate, and a learning track links three courses in one subject with no commitment in advance. Here are the differences, the time and draft price, and who each suits.
Three formats for a course
Every course is taught with the same cases and discussion; what changes is the rhythm. In a cohort course you start on a set day with your group and move forward together each week. In an on-demand course you start the day you enrol and go at your own speed. A sprint is a few hours in which you try a subject before committing to a full course.
| Format | Start and access | Time | Example and draft price | Suits someone who |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cohort | 11 Jan 2027 and later | 6 weeks · 7 h a week | Leading People from Day One · 4,900 SAR | learns best with a fixed date and classmates |
| On demand | Any day · 90 days of access | 8 weeks · 5 h a week | Competing Globally from the Gulf · 4,900 SAR | has a changing schedule and likes their own pace |
| Sprint | Any day · 30 days of access | 5 hours in all | AI Skills Sprint · 990 SAR | wants to try a subject quickly before committing |
Prices, dates and lengths are drafts until aali's team confirms them.

Common questions
Should I start with a sprint or a full course?
If you are unsure about the subject, start with a sprint: it costs less, takes a few hours and is enough to show you how we teach. If you know what you want, the full course gives you a certificate of completion and a cohort to learn with.
Should I buy the programme or the courses one by one?
If you plan to finish all the courses, the programme costs less and gives you a fixed group and a closing project. If you would rather test first, buy one course; each course counts later toward a learning track.
Can I move from one format to another?
Yes. You never have to declare your plan in advance: someone who finished an on-demand course can join a cohort course next, and every course counts toward a learning track as long as it is in the same subject and within 18 months.
