What do you get back from learning?

We believe a school should prove its effect, not announce it. So we print no number here before we have measured it: we will survey our learners after their courses end, and the results take the place of these slots. Until then we show what we will measure and why, clearly marked draft.

Three things we will measure

  • Draft figure

    00%

    Skills other people notice

The share of learners who said colleagues or managers noticed a difference in their work after the course. The survey result takes its place.

  • Draft figure

    00%

    More confidence to lead

The share who felt better able to make hard calls and take charge of a team. The survey result takes its place.

  • Draft figure

    00%

    Learning that pays off

The share who reported a step up at work, a new venture or better income within a period after the course. The survey result takes its place.

Every figure here is a draft. Real figures will come from a learner survey once it is run, and we will state the number of respondents and the date of the survey beside them.

Who can join

There is no admission for courses: you enrol, pay and begin. A few courses note earlier skills, such as using spreadsheets, on their page. Programmes need a short application because their group is fixed. If you are unsure of your level, write to us and we will point you to a first course.

Top questions

How do I know a course is worth it?

Read the course syllabus and what you will produce in it, and set its time and price against your goal. You can start with a lower-cost sprint to test our approach. When survey results exist we will show them here, unpolished.

Do you publish salary figures?

We will not publish a figure we cannot back up. If the survey yields results about income we will show them as reported to us, with how many answered and when we asked, and we will promise no one a raise.

How much time will I need?

Each course states its weekly time on its page, between four and seven hours in the full courses. A sprint is about five hours in all, so you can finish it in a week.

Can my employer pay?

Yes, and many employers are open to it. We have a five-step guide and a letter outline, and we issue the documents your finance department asks for if you ask us. We can also send a payment link to your organisation if it prefers to pay directly.

What if I cannot finish the course?

You can withdraw within a set period after the materials open and get part of the fee back, and some courses allow a deferral to the next cohort. Read the payment and refund policy before you enrol.

Is the certificate a degree?

No. It is an aali certificate describing what you finished, and we claim no degree and no accreditation. Use it to show your skills to an employer, who can check it on the verification page.
