How to apply.

Five steps take you from creating an account to the orientation session, and none of them needs a pile of paperwork. The dates and times on this page are drafts, which aali confirms with each cohort, so check the latest date in your acceptance email before you plan around it.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Your email, name and a password in one account. If you already have an aali account, sign in.

  2. 02

    Write a short application

Questions about your work, goals and time, with no essay and no exam.

  3. 03

    Hear our decision

The decision reaches your email within about a week of your application being complete (draft). If we cannot accept you we say why and suggest a course to begin with.

  4. 04

    Pay

Once accepted you pay the full fee or the first instalment (5,250 SAR) before the pay-by date (draft).

  5. 05

    Begin with orientation

You meet your group and the platform, then begin the first course on its date.

What the application asks.

We ask what helps us build a balanced group, not what makes one application look better than another. Write in your own words; we read for understanding and candour, not for style. We do not ask for a long essay; a few sentences for each question will do, and a person reads every application with care.

  • 01

    Your work now

Your role, where you work, and the decisions you carry.

  • 02

    What you want to change

What you hope to do after the programme that you cannot do today.

  • 03

What you add to your group

An experience, a question or a story you will share with your classmates.

  • 04

    Your time

Whether you can give the weekly hours the programme asks, throughout.

Admission criteria (draft).

Each track has one stated criterion, a draft until aali's team confirms it. We read it with the rest of the application, and we may accept someone who does not meet it exactly if the application shows something that makes up for it.

  • Early career

Building a firm base in business

Draft criterion: two years of work, or the equivalent.

  • Specialist moving up

An expert who wants the whole picture

Draft criterion: five years in your field.

  • Owner

Running a business of your own

Draft criterion: a business that has run for at least a year.

Payment plan (draft).

You can pay 10,500 SAR at once, or in 2 instalments of equal size. Your employer can pay for you, and the reimbursement guide has its steps. The first instalment falls due after acceptance and before the pay-by date, and the dates of the rest are announced with each cohort, so you know what you owe before you commit to anything.

The application.

Answer the questions below in your own words, and do not worry about length; being honest and specific is enough. Submissions open at launch. Until then you can read the questions and prepare for them, and ask us about anything in the application that is unclear.

Submissions open at launch; nothing you type is stored before then.

Questions about applying.

Do I need a CV or an essay?

No. There is no essay and no exam. You tell us in your own words about your work and goals, and that is enough for us to read.

What if I am not accepted?

We tell you why and suggest a course to begin with, and you can apply again for a later start after finishing it.

Can I defer my start after acceptance?

Yes, once, to the next start if there is one (draft). The rules are in the policy on changing status.

Can my employer pay?

Yes. Read the employer reimbursement guide; our team can help with the paperwork.

Is the programme a degree?

No. You earn an aali programme certificate, and we claim no degree and no accreditation.
